One stock number for several shops. A hold at checkout, not a nightly merge of spreadsheets.

A sale on the website should not surprise the warehouse. We keep catalog, price, and reserved stock in one database — MySQL or Postgres. Redis can hold the hot cart. The shop can be a regular site or React. The service behind it can be Laravel or Node.
Several brands can share one stock truth. Staff get one desk for orders, returns, and the odd case that used to live in a chat group.
